Permaculture Design Principles allow us to create a “culture” to thrive for generations to come.

PPI aims to make food production easier and sustainable as we mimic the permanent, regenerative systems observed in nature. This encourages ecological and environmental balance as we include natural plant communities in our design.

These design principles can be applied directly to our gardens, agriculture, homes, communities and even ourselves! This creative stage for making decisions opens the door for respecting others and the planet. Whether you desire to enhance beautiful backyard ecosystems, create a productive market garden or an ecological farm gardening system, permaculture can give you the tools to make your growing space more productive, diverse and beautiful.

This process is building soil, increasing its fertility and creating diverse environments in which humans become a partner and not a competitor. As a result, a healthy food production model can be applied anywhere in the world!

For a deep dive, David Holmgren’s The Essence of Permaculture, is an amazing resource!
